We will have another GSP litter in 2023, so we'll be announcing the details soon!
Greg and Lynn Dee Bauer, owners of Bauers Boundless GSPs, hope to share our passion for German Shorthaired Pointers (GSP) by using our years of experience and finding just the perfect GSP family, Our dogs are fearless upland game hunters and many hours are spent training in the field. They are bred with the goal of improving the breed of the GSP. We got our first GSP many years ago and she inspired us to carry on the fun and high energy of this amazing breed. Our next GSP, Trigger, came to us in 2010. Trigger passed away peacefully at home in January 2022. Bella joined our family in 2013. She is the dam of Zeke, her first pup, and Zoey. Zeke was born in 2014 and Zoey in 2017. In 2020 we acquired Kimber, a mostly black GSP. Zoey and Kimber are due to whelp within days of each other in early December 2022.
Bella was our first GSP to run in sanctioned AKC tests. She earned her Master Hunter title in 2016 to become our first titled dog. She has whelped proven offspring that continue to prove out the quality of the genetics. Her offspring hold a variety of achievements including AKC Field Champion, Master Hunter, Senior Hunter, and Junior Hunter. Zoey is from Bella's second litter and earned her Master Hunter in 2022. She placed second in Open Gun Dog at a field trial in 2022. She will continue her pursuit of Field Champion in 2023. Zoey is also the dam of one of our 2 expected litters in December 2022, along with Kimber, who is expecting her first litter. Kimber is training for her Senior Hunter. Zeke was Bella's very first pup to be born and she accidentally bit off one of his feet. He earned Senior Hunter in 2016 before being involved in a serious incident. He was shot and subsequently lost his remaining rear foot. Zeke is a two-footed GSP who has no idea he is handicapped. Although he is our special needs boy, he has incredible prey drive and continues to bring us much joy.
The AKC describes the GSP as an enthusiastic gundog of all trades who thrives on vigorous exercise, positive training, and a lot of love. GSPs are up to working long days in the field, GSPs are known for power, speed, agility, and endurance. GSPs make happy, trainable pets who bond firmly to their family. They are always up for physical activities like running, swimming, organized dog sports, anything that will burn some of their boundless energy while spending outdoors time with a human buddy. We have found this to be quite true as described.

Zoey is the dam of our first litter due in December 2022. Her mother is Bella, and her father is Ranger, the most titled GSP in the US. She is an incredible example of a finished dog. Zoey is hard charging, covers ground quickly but thoroughly, and is a very stylish dog to hunt with and to watch. She has incredible energy and endurance, but also serves as a lap dog in our home. She is earned Mast

Zoey's first litter was born on December 9, 2021. She whelped 10 pups, three females and seven males. They varied in color from black and white patch to liver and white patch and black ticked to liver ticked. All 10 found amazing forever homes.
Kimber is the newest addition to our kennel. She is 2.5 years old and is almost completely black. Kimber is a Junior Hunter and is training for Senior Hunter. She will expand our bloodline and allow us to add more depth to the breed. She is set to whelp her first litter in early December 2022. She has an amazing nose and a staunch point. Kimber is one of the most affectionate GSPs we have.
